----Appreciates Olu of Ilaro for the chieftaincy title

The Abepa of Joga Orile in Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State,Oba Adekeye Adeyemi has congratulated Professor Biyi Afonja as the new Balogun of Yewaland.
The monarch also congratulated the paramount ruler of Yewaland, His Royal Majesty, OBA Kehinde Olugbenle (MFR), whom he said has made a right decision in chosen "the man whom the cap fits".
First Awarenesses reports that, Afoja an indigene of Joga Orile is the first Nigeria's Professor of Statistics and was recently conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Balogun of Yewaland.
Speaking in a telephone interview with First Awareness, Oba Adeyemi said Professor Afonja was the best candidate for the prestigious postion hence, his appointment as Balogun of Yewaland was well deserved one
"Professor Afonja's appointment as Balogun of Yewaland is a deserved honor bestowed on the right candidate who's contributions to the development of Yewaland is unmeasurable. thus,I wish him the best in all his endeavors.
The monarch further described the chieftaincy title as eminently deserved by Professor Afonja who is one of the icons of Yewaland.
"We are very happy that our Paramount Ruler has honoured an illustrious son of Joga with the iconic title of Balogun of Yewaland. We see this as an indication of the pivotal role of Joga in Yewaland".
"As Balogun,it is my prayer to God to give him all the wherewithal to lead and achieve the desire progress, development and the unity of Yewaland.
"The Paramount Ruler of Yewaland,Oba Kehinde Olugbenle MFR has made a right choice of Professor Biyi Afonja and his confirement as Balogun was a round peg in round hole."Abepa stated.
