Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu,the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta

Anxiety and palpable fear has gripped the People of Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta over the death rumors of their Monarch ,Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu,the Amororo 11.
While It was speculated in some quarters that, Kangunere has joined his ancestors,others believed that Kabiyesi is still alive hale and healthy while some says his health conditions has deteriorated.
However,there is no yet an official confirmation of Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu's death rumors as all efforts to get across to the Balogun of Owu Kingdom,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yielded no fruit.
All calls put through to his Media Assistant,Kehinde Akinyemi were not connected may be, as a result of bad network .
Meanwhile, a source closed to Owu Palace confirmed to First Awareness under condition of anonymity that Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu has joined his ancestors on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile,First Awareness reports that Olowu Kangunere, Akobi Oodua, Amiwo-Aja had his primary School at Owu Baptist Day School from 1941 and proceeded to Baptist High School ,Abeokuta in 1950
He enrolled in evening classes at King College Lagos in 1956 where he obtained advance level certificate. He had varied working experiences that spanned public service and private entrepreneurship .
In 1963, he pursued a course in Drama and Television and Film production at Hendon College of Technology in London and worked with Dennis Duerden in London .
Later, he was recruited from England into NBS to establish Drama ,Art and Cultural Production for Television in Nigeria.
First Awareness also reports that,Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu was the brain behind Nigerians most celebrated and popular Television Drama series, "The Village
Headmaster"
He also became Chairman of Abeokuta Local government in 1976 and in 2006 he became the Olowu of Owu Kingdom,Abeokuta.
