AC Milan supporters were left disappointed with the efforts of their team on Tuesday,as they slipped to a 2-1 loss against Liverpool.
The home side took the lead via former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, only for mistakes in defence and in goal to give the Reds a route back into the match.
Mohamed Salah equalised before half time with a guided finish from a rebound, before Divock Origi capitalised on some lacklustre play at the back to put Jurgen Klopp's side ahead.
Milan did have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition in Tuesday's clash, although they would have required three points against Liverpool and a draw in the group's other game between Porto and Atletico Madrid.
The latter eventually prevailed 3-1 in that fixture, with each team seeing a player sent off.
While Milan supporters were full of praise for Liverpool's efforts after a 3-2 win at Anfield earlier in the group stage, their emotions were directed more towards their own team's sloppy play on Tuesday.
