Continue to Support Gov. Abiodun's Administration, Ogun Chief Of Staff Urges Youths.

The Chief of Staff to the Ogun State Governor, Alhaji Shuaib Salisu has urged Ogun youths to continue to support the administration of Dapo Abiodun  to enable him complete  all infrastructural development projects embarked upon by his administration. 

Alhaji Salisu made the appeal believing that their continuous support will not only enable the Governor to complete all the on going projects, but will encourage him to embark on new developmental projects for the benefit of all.

Abiodun's Chief of Staff made this call on Friday while delivering a lecture on the topic, 'Gains of Political Tolerance: A case Study of Dapo Abiodun's Administration, at the 2022 edition of the Ogun APC Youth Continuity Walk and Lecture in Abeokuta. 

Salisu encouraged the youths to get thier PVCs so as to ensure that Governor Abiodun continues beyond 2023.

He also advised them to emulate the virtues of tolerance demonstrated by Governor Abiodun, who, despite personal attacks, coupled with physical assaults on his supporters and followers, the height of which was experienced in 2019 that left many with various degrees of injury for simply having a different political choice, yet refused to retaliate upon his ascendary into office.

The youths, who were adorned in symbolic yellow T-Shirts and Face-caps as a sign of support to the Governor, numbered in thousands and marched through the streets of Abeokuta.

He said, "I do not need to remind you of the events of 2019, it is common knowledge to  everyone here. But Ogun State has since enjoyed meaningful development in different sectors accros all Local governments of the state, occasioned by the peaceful political atmosphere created and promoted by the virtues of Governor Abiodun.

"No State can enjoy this much people-oriented development without first experiencing a peaceful political atmosphere. 

"Ogun State has always been known for peace, and we have ensured to sustain it through deliberate efforts.

"Governor Abiodun has always preached and practiced the policy of inclusiveness. His policy of inclusiveness is unique. It is clear, rare and deliberate. You will always find in him, the conduct of 'Omoluabi', who governs with character, and serves diligently and sincerely. He is making your interests the core of governance.

"As an administration that has been focused, deliberate, methodical, driven by an unwavering commitment to serve and one that enjoys tremendous goodwill of our people, I enjoin you all keep supporting Governor Abiodun", he added.
