Late Dr.Olawoye Oyelami

The Chief Imam of Ogun State Hospital,Ijaye , Abeokuta,Ustaz Muhammad Uthman has urged Nigerians to always remember to serve God bearing in mind that one day, after the death they will be call upon to give account of their stewardship.
The Islamic Cleric made the call on Sunday at the 8 day Fidau prayers for late Dr.Abdul Rauf Olawoye Oyelami who biden the world good bye on 26th of March 2022 at the age of 55.
According to him, "no matter how rich and powerful you may be,at the end of life, you would be called upon to render account of your stewardship"he stated.
He said late Oyelami has gotten to his bus stop as death has no respect for any body both old and young,rich or poor hence,we must have the fear of Allah, serve him at all times and be ready to render account of stewardship when death beaconed on us.
"If he had lived a little beyond, it is possible to cause problem for the family because no human being can live beyond Allah's appointed time. So,for the fact that he died at young age has nothing to do with God who has destined Oyelami to die at the young age.
"Olawoye was a medical Doctor and had many colleagues who could not safe his life because he has gotten to his bus stop which means that, nobody will escape death at the appointed times hence,we must serve Allah at all times because nobody know when it will be his or her time."the Cleric stated.
"To both Muslims and Christians,I appealed to you to see your living as temporary because of a day like today when everyone of you will answer the call of Allah .Therefore, be preparing for the last day by doing good and serving Allah your Creator.Nothing you brought to this world and you will take nothing along when the time comes" He admonished Nigerians.
To Oyelami's family,he urged them to take proper care of the children he left behind saying, their education must be paramount if you don't want boys among them to turn to area boys while girls become wayward .
Meanwhile, family members,friends,classmates and well-wishers in their various comments described late Olawoye Oyelami as a principled man who always fought for justice and a cheerful giver.
First Awareness reports that,Dr.Oyelami was our Columnist who wrote different medical issues in a colum tagged 'Medical Issues'.
Among his write ups were topics such as, "Coping with stress, Autistic Disorder ( Autism),Psychoactive Substance Misuse/ Abuse,and Panic disorder among others too numerous to mention.
Meanwhile, the 8 day Fidau prayers was successful and graced by dignitaries from various sphere of life to include the Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Hon Afolabi Afuape among all others.
