It was with pomp, pageantry, glitz and glamour as Chief (Mrs) Grace Abosede Adeyemi bows out gloriously from public service, as eminent personalities from all walks of life attended the thanksgiving Service to commemorate the day.
The two in one events also witnessed the 60th birthday ceremony of the celebrant.
Speaking at the thanks giving cum party to mark the events, Venerable J.O Omole of St. John Anglican Church, Igbein, Abeokuta described the celebrant as the salt and light of her family who's contributions and unwavering support to her husband, Chief Toyin Adeyemi has contributed immensely for the success recorded by the family.
Omole who spoke at the birthday party organized to give glory to God for Mrs Adeyemi's retirement from the public service and the occasion marking her 60th birthday at Amazing Grace Event Center, Quarry road, Abeokuta over the weekend, also described Chief Mrs Adeyemi as the light of the world.
Quoting from the book of Matthew Chapter 5:13-16 Ven.Omole said Mrs Adeyemi "you the light of the World.A city that is set on a hill can't be hid"
He therefore advised the gathering especially Women to emulate her humility, humbleness and sincerity to her husband.

"Let your light so shine before men that,they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven"the man of God stressed.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the occasion,Agbaakin Adetokunbo Oladipupo described Mrs Adeyemi is an embodiment of beauty and of good character which depicted her as a responsible Woman and God fearing mother.
"Yes, Mrs Adeyemi from all indications, is a dependable house wife worthy of emulations by Women folks.
"You have retired from public service but you must bear in mind that,life begins at 60.
"Now,you must have one hundred percent attention for your husband, he is your partner and because you have retired from public work ,you must be with him always.

"Of Course yes,your children are now grown up no more disturbances or hindrances. It is you and your husband and nothing else"Agbaakin advised.
Accolades were also poured on Mrs Adeyemi during testimony period by many especially family members, friends, colleagues from office and well wishers who described her as hardworking, faithful,diligent and honest woman.
They as well described her as tolerant,coolheaded and easy going Woman.
First Awareness reports that, the event was witnessed by who is who from all sphere of life among who were Jagunmolu of Obada ,Chief Razaq Shotunde and his wife, Yeye Jagunmolu, Chief (Mrs) Biola Shotunde ,re-known socialite,Segun Adeyemi "Omobaba let them say" .
Also in attendance were members of FOH 2ND NG and Busy Bee Society of st John's Anglican church Igbein Abeokuta and all others friends too numerous to metion.
