    Latest News: EFCC arrests Ogun Speaker

    The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo has been arrested by  the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).

    The lawmaker was reportedly arrested on Thursday morning at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State, by agents of the anti-graft agency.

    Currently, Oluomo  is said to be undergoing serious drilling at the office of the agency, after being taking into custody. 

    First Awareness is yet to be ascertained of the specific nature of the allegations but the arrest might not be unconnected to financial impropriety.
